About Patman My name is Mike Holden. I started the company in 2007. I have the City and Guilds 'Level 3 Certificate for the Inspection and testing of Electrical Equipment', also called C&G 2377. I deal mainly with local businesses, usually in the office or kitchen areas. I also do testing in factories but I only test single-phase equipment. I use up-to-date test equipment which is calibrated annually by the manufacturers, and produce Test Reports using specialist computer software. Please note: I am not associated with any other company with a similar name. |

What I offer Each appliance gets a Test Label, pass or fail. You get a Test Report - a complete inventory of your equipment (usually required by your insurance company) showing the test results. In addition, I do minor repairs such as replacing damaged plugs and incorrect fuses and, if possible, repair damaged mains cables - at no extra charge. I aim to give you the best possible service.

What I charge Some appliances require testing less often than others. I give you the maximum period between testing, consistent with the appliance type, conditions and safety. This can be up to 24 months for many appliances. This halves the annual cost for those appliances. I do not charge extra for the Test Report. I make no Call-out or Travel charges. There are no hidden extras. If you would like me to test your equipment Please phone me on 01386 462168 or contact me at patman.services@outlook.com |
